Chester Bennington teve o e-mail violado e a família ameaçada.
Devon Townsend foi sentenciada a dois anos de prisão.

Devon Townsend tem 60 dias para se entregar a uma prisão de segurança mínima em Phoenix, no Arizona, onde ela é esperada para receber tratamento psiquiátrico. Ela admitiu ser culpada de assédio e outras acusações. Townsend usou os computadores da Sandia National Laboratories para acessar informações particulares de Bennington e de sua mulher, Talinda, uma ex-modelo da "Playboy", em 2006.
De acordo com o texto da sentença, ela disse ter obtido fotos da família, monitorado mensagens de voz, e viajado até Arizona para se encontrar com o cantor do Linkin Park, utilizando informações sobre planos de viagem. Townsend ainda conseguiu correspondências entre a gravadora Warner Bros e os representantes do Linkin Park, incluindo a cópia de um cheque e o contrato da banda.
Investigadores ainda afirmaram que ela chegou a ameaçar a mulher do vocalista após ter entrado no e-mail de Bennington.

Chega ao mercado o novo lançamento oficial do grupo norte-americano Linkin Park. Trata-se do EP “Live From SoHo”, gravado ao vivo em uma apresentação na loja Apple SoHo Store, em Nova York, no dia 21 de fevereiro deste ano.
O lançamento faz parte de um projeto da Apple SoHo Store que já colocou à disposição trabalhos de artistas como The Good, The Bad and The Queen, Kigs of Leon e Tokyo Police Club, entre outros. O EP foi lançado apenas em formato digital e não há previsão do lançamento em formato físico.

Mike Shinoda, o rapper do Linkin Park, vai estrear em carreira solo, com um trabalho que, segundo ele próprio, “não é Rock de jeito nenhum”. Ele está até mesmo preocupado com a aceitação do trabalho por parte dos fãs de sua banda. “Para os fãs do lado Rock do Linkin Park, espero que gostem, mas nunca se sabe”, disse Mike à MTV norte-americana.
O trabalho, ainda sem título, não tem data de lançamento prevista, mas já está quase pronto. Há inúmeras participações especiais no projeto. “Estou contando com vários grandes MCs que são meus amigos. Não estou saindo por aí pegando quem está mais na moda”, revelou Mike.
